How we started
It all started with a queen of clubs. A small side-project illustration became the groundwork for a whole deck of cards and later an independent two-deck edition with additional accessories. Once the concept was ready, we wanted to show it to the world and crowdfunding seemed like a natural choice. We met people along the way, who thought alike and were able to contribute to the project in various fields. Relentless Venture came to be a mark that rallied those who believed that those designs could be brought to life and were worthy of being shown to the wider audience. While still encountering challenges, we strive to overcome them relentlessly, doing our best to deliver our art on different media to anyone, who finds it worthy of interest.
Our team consists of talented artists, designers, and visionaries who pour their hearts and souls into every card we produce. We take pride in the diversity of our card collections, from beautifully designed playing cards to personalized and custom-made cards tailored to your unique needs. Relentless Venture is more than a company, it’s a creative force that embraces challenges and turns them into opportunities. Our relentless pursuit of perfection in card design and production is what makes us stand out.
OUR
GOALS
PROVIDE EXCELLENT QUALITY
We take great care that the products we provide are of high-end quality. We aim to collaborate only with proven contractors, or when possible to develop our production capabilities.
OUTSTANDING GRAPHICS
Publishing our art while maintaining a unique style and vibe is the matter of most importance for us. While considering all feedback that is reaching us we want to evolve as artists and creators continuously.
BUILD COMMUNITY
The opinions of our backers and clients are invaluable to us. We strive to build a strong community focused on transferring art to everyday life. We will stay open for dialogue and constructive critique.
Meet our
main designer
“It’s always a mixture of thrill, anxiety, and honor to lead the designing process of our crowdfunding projects. While doing my best based on my experience and education to complete the highest quality projects for our crowdfunding campaigns – it’s the say of the backers who finally verify the quality of the work we all put into each endeavor. What matters most to me are the people, who are gathered by the sole idea of creating art. The community, individuals who reach out to us with aims of cooperation and teamwork along the way is its own reward, despite each campaign outcome. It’s great to be here!“
PROJECT STORYLINE
At Relentless Venture we constantly evolve to make our projects and the stories they tell more interesting. With each edition, we aim to improve each aspect of our activity: from graphic design, through quality control during production to final packaging and shipping. Realms of
the deep sea
Aquatic Kingdoms
Decks of playing cards inspired by the oceans and everything that has connected and attracted people and the sea for centuries and by civilizations and underwater realms from ancient times that were long forgotten, or have never existed but still live in myths and legends.
The card designs focus on conveying the mystery and richness of marine life through graphics using themes based on myths and stories referring to the inhabitants of the underwater world. All this has been captured in a variety of explicit but non-literal ways.

What we learned
Aquatic Kingdoms Kickstarter campaign proved to be even more successful than predicted. We managed to gather a solid community around the project. The production phase went swiftly, but we realized that some parts of the production needed to be handled directly by our team. We further developed our packaging and shipping process and concluded that we were running out of storage space.
Lessons learned
for the next project:
- tuck boxes need to be protected by foil
- new tuck box print enrichment method
- prototyping process

The Labyrinth
The leitmotif is a mysterious labyrinth located both on the reverse and the obverse of the cards. It is inscribed, among others, in a circle symbolizing infinity, absolute, and eternity, as well as a hexagon referring to unbridled powers far beyond the reach of ordinary people. Which way – and more importantly – where is the road leading to?
Fascinating colors are rarely found in nature. Turquoise symbolizes immortality and eternity, and the amethyst color that helps to keep a sober mind and control raging senses. Both are broken with royal gold and dark black, giving the decks a disturbingly fascinating character. What does it mean? The colors of the ocean depths, or maybe the depths of madness?

What we learned
The Labyrinth gave us the opportunity to fix any issues with the previous project. Thanks to the already gathered experience we managed to create a fully aware playing card project. We found the card stock that we were happy with. The Kickstarter campaign has proven to be quite a success, and encouraged by this we started to experiment with edge enrichments. We decided to go with gold. While the last packages were being shipped to their backers, the idea of a new design was already in our minds.
Lessons learned
for the next project:
- explore edge enrichments further
- further improve double box quality
- keep widening the store offer

Our first project
Enchanted Gems
We’ve been dealing with graphic design for over a decade, but as a matter of fact, this is the first time we’ve taken up the challenge of designing a deck of cards. As it happens with the first project of this kind – we had many sleepless nights, we dug through the entire internet looking for answers to tormenting dilemmas, and there were also disputes and heated discussions, the fruit of which is the Enchanted Gems: Emerald & Ruby decks. The idea that accompanied us from drawing the first sketches was to create a graphically complete work. Work that will bring you as much pleasure as possible while in your hands.

What we learned
Enchanted Gems projects gave us invaluable experience in managing Kickstarter campaigns. We learned many ways to optimize it to be more backer-friendly. It also signaled us what kind of rewards are most popular. We had to find our way through the whole shipping process, including the proper securement of packages. The final product still left some fields for improvement despite limited financial success, so we decided to explore that direction further.
Lessons learned
for the next project:
- seek better card stock
- optimize packaging and shipping
- look for a worldwide shop platform
